Why my laptop make a clicking noise

The last couple days my laptop in the top corner left make a clicking noise and its swhon alos with a bipping blue light, do u know what happen and hat i must to do? for information i have Acer Aspire 6930

Is the computer booting even with the noise? It could be a bad hard-drive or a power issue depending on what the clicking sounds like.
