In this area of Florida, Comcast (along with a full compliment of local
analog stations) offers only CBS-HD, NBC-HD and FOX-WS (of the local
network affiliates). These all come from Orlando, 65 miles away. The
ABC affiliate (WFTV) and the PBS station (WMFE), as well as a WB
station (WKCF) and UPN station (WRBQ), also broadcast HD over the air
now in Orlando. Why does Comcast choose not to carry these other
network HD stations through the cable? Is it bandwidth limitations?
Does the fact that ABC is 720p format have anything to do with it?
(PBS is 1080i also, not sure about WB & UPN) How's that compare on
Comcast HD in your neck of the woods? Rich...
