Question Why will computer not boot?

I have a Lenovo S340 with 25g ssd stick. Cloned OS to new 1.7T 2.5" ssd. I installed the 2.5" ssd and removed the 25g ssd. When I remove the small 25g stick, computer will not boot. If I leave the 25g ssd in computer slowly boots. Os is Win 10
