Well im in need of a new gaming laptop that i could use for both school and ofcourse gaming.

My budget is around 1500 pounds or 2500 usd.

Right now i have my mind set on the "Msi gs60"
Would that be a good choice or a dumb move? :)

I would prefer it to be a 15,6 inch laptop :)

you could also get a razer blade? the new 2014 edition is a fantastic machine and is more powerful than the gs60. Honestly the GS60 is pretty bad for build quality.
you could also check out mysn eu for a similar customisable system.

You can go for Alienware 17
Or Falcon northwest has some quality tested hardware but there prices are a little high ,
But with that money you could build a desktop and grab a monitor mouse keyboard , and still run latest games on ultra , max high for 3 to 4 years

I'm assuming that you're based in the UK
the MSI GS60 is a bad option. Yeah its ultra thin but it runs so hot that its just uncomfortable.
and the heat throttles the components massively
and then there's the fact you can't utilise all the power the laptop has when its running on battery power.
a solid laptop would be this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/G750JS-T4069H-17-3-inch-Notebook-i7-4700HQ-Bluetooth/dp/B00I1BRDTG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1404575044&sr=8-3&keywords=asus+g750+js
its a fantastic piece with the highest level of cooling, quiet and build quality. However it is quite heavy.
alternatively you can get a custom built one here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/VortexIV-15/
this ones a kilogram and a bit lighter and is smaller, and is actually more powerful. you can also configure an SSD and whatnot. However it won't be as high quality, quiet and cool as the asus ROG
