[citation][nom]saturnus[/nom]If he's innocent why did he flee the country, refuse to talk with the prosecutors about the changes at any point, and not appear on any of 4 scheduled court dates in Sweden forcing them to issue an international arrest warrant?[/citation]
Because you didn't read any other articles that had the facts in them.
He offered to talk to prosecutors, they refused.
Charges in Sweden were DROPPED.
Interpol didn't issue a warrant, just a notice. BIG difference.
So really, he's being arrested in England for charges in Sweden, which have been dropped already...

Rape victims usually throw parties for their rapists before getting them convicted.

Or they can seduce men and then decide when the guy is on the brink of a climax that they did not want to have sex after all and the whole thing was a rape.

The guys who created these laws were sure retards.

It's amazing he isn't yet accused of being a drug lord, an arms dealer and a baby eater based on "evidence" provided by the NSA, the CIA or any foreign security agency. :)

If this all went down in the U.S., as much as we don't like this guy and would probably have him die at our hands if we could, I think we'd likely allow him to post bail because people still have rights here, though they are becoming fewer all the time.

The US know they cannot arrwest him so this rape charge which will fail is an attempt to land him in jail, he has the right to publish what he likes, the US govt. are wankers and trying to quieten him, I tell you what if he goes to jail there will be some severe anti american sentiment, he showed the world how stupid world leaders are.

So if Megan Fox comes up to me and offers me sex but only if I don't wear a condom, can I have sex with her and then charge her with rape?

[citation][nom]r3t4rd[/nom]Regardless of how "Setup" this looks, I could careless. I have stated this before and will again, - this guy's whole agenda from the begining has always been to hurt the US in any fashion he can and Wikileaks was just his smoke screen.[/citation]

So the fact that the leaked information is good for the US people to see who did what kind of wrongdoing and violated people's rights so they can make informed decisions on who to kick out of office is of no consequence? Its only bad for corrupt politicians who stomp on the rights of Americans, the companies who have too cozy a relationship with politicians. Just look at the bank scandal, American economy ruined, barely anyone got so much as a slap on the wrist. Hell, they were all given MONEY, for ruining our economy!

Wikileaks only leaks what documents they get in. Enough people were fed up with crap from the US, they sent it to them.

Want to stop the nasty bad embarrassing leaks about your country? Don't have leaders who engage in the nasty dirty illegal activities that would embarrass a country in the first place.

So if this guy is doing it for the "Good" of the people, why not expose other nations?

Dont tell me he and his colleagues cant get his hands on their info too..

[citation][nom]r3t4rd[/nom]Regardless of how "Setup" this looks, I could careless.[/citation]

So you don't care if someone innocent of a crime is convicted of it because you don't agree with his political agenda? Do you have the slightest comprehension of what the flag you no doubt have stickered to your bumper even stands for?

[citation][nom]r3t4rd[/nom]Lets not even bring in the subject of US and other world troops in other countries into this but lets put an example of France. Lets just say Terrorists now know a major port in France is. If they take that port city out, it will cripple France's imports and exports by 40%. You thinking, you live in Britain that this terrorist act will not affect you but all the sudden, Wine and cheese and main exports rise through the roof in Britain. Now you have to spend extra money weekly/monthly on food. On top of that lets throw this in as well, your brother/sister/someone close to you travels to that port City on vacation or business and gets killed in the terrorist act. How do you like that? This example can be put on any Country and any major city in the world that is critical. So for all those nay sayers that say the information Assange/WikiLeaks is putting out at this moment is not detrimental to any extent needs to stop living in that Unicorn Magical Apple like world and get to reality. Exactly.[/citation]

Maybe you should turn off Fox News and come back to reality yourself, it takes me a fraction of a second to google "Busiest Port in France", it isn't a national secret. If you think that the bogeyman terrorists hiding in your closet can't do the same then you truly live up to your name. Have you for one second considered that if the Wikileaks team can get a hold of information, then terrorists can ALSO get a hold of the same information ON THEIR OWN, whether it be plane routes, blueprints, or military locations?

Again, the information on Wikileaks is information being given to the general populace that diplomats, terrorists, spies, any anyone else concerned can already get access to, should they bother to get it.

[citation][nom]Nakal[/nom]So if this guy is doing it for the "Good" of the people, why not expose other nations? Dont tell me he and his colleagues cant get his hands on their info too..[/citation]

The US is getting the brunt of it, but they aren't singling the US out. Seems about right to me considering the role the US plays on the world stage at this point in time.

[citation][nom]gilbertfh[/nom]I think it is funny how many ignorant people thing the US arrested him and is prosecuting him for sex crimes.[/citation]

I think it is funny how many ignorant people think the US had nothing to do with this.

New wikileak...

Girl accuses man of rape on behalf of US government.

Sexual relations began consensual and ended in rape because he never wore a condom.. It actually makes sense.
If they were doing it and she said... got a condom? He replies “no”.... then she said i don’t want to have sex...then it is rape!! I think the fact that she tracked down this other partner of his somewhat shows her concern of the unprotected sex. At any time during sex if one person says stop and you don’t comply you are in fact raping them! (Do guys say stop?) Let the courts decide, evidence/facts are a beautiful thing!

Props to this guy for wikileaks though, two years ago a lot of people were saying Assange should receive the Nobel Prize for wikileaks. As soon as something anti USA is posted he becomes a criminal. (Before the rape allegations)

Crazy:

[citation][nom]Nakal[/nom]So if this guy is doing it for the "Good" of the people, why not expose other nations? Dont tell me he and his colleagues cant get his hands on their info too..[/citation]

He does, has, and if you read through the site, you'd know that. Its a world clearinghouse for information of wrongdoing, they get what people send them. They don't go looking for information, people send it to them.

Assenge is a rapist and a terrorist, as are his supporters that are currently launching DNS attacks against US companies that oppose wikileaks. And his continued threats to drop "tactical information nukes" against the US, show his terrorist intent.
This man is a terrorist, just like Osama Bin Laden.
All you people supporting him are terrorist sympatizers and should be arrested!!!!!!!

[citation][nom]Cushgod[/nom]@ r3t4rd , couldnt I just walk to the port and see that its the busiest. I dont need to steal that secret form the government to know a port has alot of boats and people. Your dumb oh wait r3t4rded....[/citation]
Apparently you don't read. Ofcourse anyone can walk into a port and know there's a lot of boats. But do you know if you criple the port it will cripple exports and imports of the country? Answer this than, what port is the most important port in the US? SInce you seem to think they are all the same? Yeah I thought so.

[citation][nom]kinggraves[/nom]So you don't care if someone innocent of a crime is convicted of it because you don't agree with his political agenda? Do you have the slightest comprehension of what the flag you no doubt have stickered to your bumper even stands for?[/citation]
Why I don't care at this point? Assanged crossed the line when he released the last wave of information. And did I say I couldn't careless about anyone else? Different situations equals different predicaments. Assange is not innocent. And where did I say that that he deserves the rape charges? Its pretty obvious the rape charges are a smoke screen to nab Assange. He's still not innocent and was never. And please don't patronize me about the US flag - wow.

[citation][nom]kinggraves[/nom]Maybe you should turn off Fox News and come back to reality yourself, it takes me a fraction of a second to google "Busiest Port in France", it isn't a national secret. Oh...really? Last I checked....I don't watch any news channel/outlet. Typical of people such as yourself to automatically say "Stop watching fox news"...LOL. You should read my previous post on ports. Your point on a busy port is moot. As far as you quoting anyone can get thier hands on information such as what Wikileaks has....please show me your proof? When was the last time Terrorist released information such as what Wikileaks did? When was the last time Terrorists and public people were able to see videos of secret meetings? Please answer those questions. Your rationalization is elementary at best. Really.Try again.
