Hey everybody,

Here's the situation - I'm keen on buying a "LASER BLU-BD1080" Blu-Ray player so I can hook it up to a Logitech Z506 5.1 surround sound system (mainly because the BR player has in-built analogue audio decoder) and I need 3 x 3.5mm to 2x RCA cables to make this work.

Keeping in mind that I don't need anything more than about 1.5m length would the real cheap cables with gold-plated connectors be ok to carry the 6 channel sound between the two devices or is it worth paying a bit more if it means better quality sound as a result?

I know that this subject can be highly debatable amongst enthusiasts but I just need to know straight up if these cheap cables found on ebay would suit this particular setup (the ones I'm looking at are around 4 AUD each).

Thanks in advance for any help :D

Solution
The standard type of affordable cables, with gold plated plugs will be great.
Spending a lot on cables is a waste, and unnecessary. Regular cables are just as good as the really expensive ones.
