Will Dell XPS M1530 support 5 1 speakers?

Can I connect a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker system to my XPS M1530? or Do I need a sound card to connect 5.1 / 7.1 speaker system to my XPS M1530?

I'm planning to buy Creative GigaWorks G550w (5.1) or GigaWorks S750 (7.1) speaker system. Can I connect these speakers directly to my XPS M1530 laptop without an additional/external sound card? Please advise.
