Will my CPU's unlocked core still work on a different mothernoard?

I wanna know will my Athlon II X3 445's fourth core still be unlocked if i install it on another board that doesn't have a core unlocker?

If the board doesn't support unlocking, then no, it won't be. Boards that unlock extra cores don't make any changes to the processor itself.

oh ok 😀 i thought that by unlocking the disabled core it enables the core and it would be a quad core to whatever motherboard i put it on
