Will my pc run GTA 5?

I recently bought a new Laptop called asus x55l series. I want to play it but im afraid to crash my pc. Ive watched videos on youtube about gta 5 running with the same pc i have and they run smoothly. And i even tried the website "Can I run It" But the result is not recommended to install the software. Im totally confused! Btw this is my Pc specs:
OS - Windows 8.1 Language Edition
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2
Memory (RAM) - 8.00GB
System type - 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Graphics card - Nividia Geforce 940m
Video ram - 2.1 GB
Pixel Shader version - 5.0
Icon Vertex Shader version - 5.0
Disk Space - 65 GB

I hope you mean you have 650 gigs of storage rather than 65 as that would be terrible on a win 8 laptop. You should be able to play gta 5 but I wouldn't recommend as that laptop is not meant to game due to its slim build.

You Can Run It! On Mid-High Settings....
Ur GPU Is A Bit Weak! Thats All Bt Its Cool You Will Be Able To Run GTA 5 Smoothly.

As in the laptop is thin not bulky.

What do you mean by slim build? I dont get it hahaha
