Will pc133 256 meg memory work in an old 600x thinkpad

It should, as I believe the 600x took DDR ram.

Sure this isn't SDRAM that is being asked about? The slowest DDR speed defined is DDR-266.

To the original poster, I'd go ahead any try it. If the laptop isn't compatible, the memory just won't fit into the slot.
