Hello,Hi, buying a new laptop, and like dabbiling in video editing (sony vegas pro and an earlier version of CS4 or 5 (don't know which one it'll be yet)

I know higher specs are better (am not very educated in all this though) but it also needs to be portable enough for university.

I was thinking of this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sony-VAIO-SVS1511S9E-S-Series-i5-3210M-FHD-IPS-Screen-8GB-Backlit-640GB-Blu-Ray-/261175775598?pt=UK_Computing_Laptops_EH&hash=item3ccf4a116e

but was wondering whether it'd be good enough? It's not pro or anything.

Theres also this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sony-VAIO-SVT1311W1ES-i5-3317U-8GB-128GBSSD-Laptop-Computer-Ultrabook-SVT1311W1E-/251231805719?pt=UK_Computing_Laptops_EH&hash=item3a7e952117

but I was less sure because of the size, I've never had less than 15 but do have a bigger monitor.

Sorry if I'm asking wrong or anything, and thanks for taking the time to read :)

IF I were you I'd set my priorities first, Size vs Processing Power.

Ultrabooks are expensive since they are smaller (and much weaker), bigger laptops 15.6" (in the same price range or a bit higher) can literally give you 3 times the processor power (look for a, i7 3610QM or a 3630QM) and most high end ones come with a dedicated GPU like a 650M which will make a noticeable difference as well.
