Question Win dos shell syntax error

I am a bit rusty on my MS-DOS cmd's and I am having a problem with Xcopy, coping files on a USB floppy drive to my HD. Here is a link to a Dropbox picture as to what I am trying to do. Win DOS Shell see's the files. But Windows Explorer doesn't see anything on the A: drive. I know it is just a syntax error but I can't remember how to fix it.

do double quote on the destination
"d:\backup\games....."

I got xcopy working now. But the #1 floppy disk for "Police Quest III is corrupted. I don't if the files are recoverable.
