Howdy,

It's time to upgrade my two old school Dell laptops. I come here for some advice. Hopefully you guys can help me out!

I would like to get a new laptop and a desktop. They will be used for work (MS office, email, brochure creation, web browsing, Quickbooks). Nothing CPU/GPU intensive.
My budget is around $1100-1200 for both PCs. The laptop will be docked most of the time, so screen resolution doesn't have to be 1080p. Also, Windows 7 is a must.

Ideally, I won't have to upgrade again for several years.

Any recommendations on what to buy?

Thank you! :D

Personally, I'd get this one due to the 7200 RPM hard drive, which means your computer will be faster to load. A lot of laptops have 5400 RPMs hard drives so that manufacturers can save money. However, a review says it came with Windows 8 and another says it was Windows 7 with Windows 8 discs.
