Windows 10 after 3/18/17 security update nothing opens

Right after The most recent windows 10 update I restarted and nothing opened. Bitdefender is stuck loading its services. Chrome opens but just shows up white. Steam doesn't work after connecting to profile. Home button works for a few seconds at startup but fails moments after, and settings button doesn't work. I booted in safe mode and used malwarebytes. No help. What do I do?

You can try using system restore to restore the computer to a date prior to the update. I would also suggest going to the microsoft site to see if there is any info on issues with that update.

Well,
Turns out the recovery method is a no go due to there being only one restore point and that being the latest update. The update ****** every method of hope.
I'm wondering if because this little update could disarm all my apps and common programs WTF else has it done. I'm really confused how it even happened. HELP

Sometimes their updates have wild repercussions. I would really suggest checking with microsoft through their site. You can't be the only one it happened to. And even if you somehow are, they should know or be told so they can fix the issue.
