About time too, as all mobile phones are basically the same hardware it make sense that you should be able to choose your OS. Except of course IOS which wouldn't be seen dead on anything other than Apple hardware, but then again there have always been Hackintoshes.....

The concept like choose your phone then choose your OS is a good idea.
Basically, the phone should be independent of the OS and you can pick your fav OS after you buy the phone.
