windows 10 lower processor GHz

Hello;

When i upgraded to windows 10 i found that my CPU 2.6GHz in the maximum , windows 7 was 3.0gHz.


The power option High performance 100%
Intel Corei7-3517U CPU @ 1.90GHz

well, i could not understand much but i think that your problem is that the os made your cpu run at lower ghz, right?

basicly there is no problem, the cpu Turbo freq. is 3ghz the base is 1.9ghz

the cpu Turbo freq. is 2.6ghz in windows 10

Try running a stress test to make sure. If it doesn't use all the 3 ghz then it is most likely that the cpu is being throttled somehow.
