Windows 7 won't format

Help!!! I have a Windows 7 / Vista computer and I can't format the hard drive. I have the Windows Installation disc and I followed through to reinstalling/formatting the hard drive and it keeps blue screening with 7b and 116 and I keep getting an error saying Windows is encountering issues and can't format the hard drive. Any other options I can do to formatting the Hard drive?

you should install windows 8, i was also having the same problem of formatting so installed windows 8.
