Windows 8.1 Laptop speakers crackling at high volume

I own an Asus Laptop and this has probably been happening in a month or so and I'm not much of a computer expert, I've searched the web to no avail any assistance is greatly appreciated my sound driver is Realtek High Definition Audio

Update your Realtek drivers to the latest version here:

Also try updating your graphics drivers. Due to HDMI audio, they have a relationship with the audio system.
