Windows 8 & ubuntu 12.04 on oracle virtualbox?

Windows xp pro sp3
Latest oracle virtualbox edition
Virtualbox extension pack

I have managed to install win xp win 7 and ubuntu 10.04 on virtualbox.
But I can't manage to install windows 8 consumer preview or ubuntu 12.04 alpha.
Both 32 bit versions.
Windows 8 gives me this error message:
Your computer needs to be repaired
An unexpected error has occurred
Error code 0xc0000260
Ubuntu 12.04 gives me this error message:
This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU:
pae
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.

Have you managed to install the 2 systems on virtualbox?

I have Windows 8 running on VirtualBox, but it is a 64-bit version. Any reason why you are going with the 32-bit versions?

The Ubuntu message seems clear enough - enable PAE extensions in your VM and try again.

I enabled pae in Virtualbox, and ubuntu 12 and windows 8 got installed.
