I just upgraded from a Casio EM500 (PPC 2000) to a Dell Axim X3 with
Windows Mobile 2003. I also upgraded the inclued copy of Outlook from 2000
to 2002. When I try to do a Windows CE Inbox Tansfer now, I get

"Unable to connect to mobile device. This version of Windows CE Inbox
Transfer will not function correctly with this device"

Do I need to install something else to be able to use Inbox Transfer?

CE Inbox Transfer is no longer supported as the Inbox of devices, Pocket PC
2002 & WM2003 have changes made in their inbox which rendered in
incompatible with CE Inbox Transfer.

Is there another option? I can use active sync because my primary email
client is Lotus Notes. I used to use Inbox Transfer to pick up the
occasional personal email which Outlook is connected to and transfer them
itno a folder on my device. I'd still like that ability if possible. I'm
not that keen on saving emails to text files and transferring them to the
device. They don't show up in the inbox of the device then.

The option is Inbox sync, that's pretty much it. With Windows Mobile
2003 (and Pocket PC 2002), you can synchronize sub-folders (which is
why the Inbox Transfer Tool was made obsolete).
