windows couldn't find a netork adapter on my laptop

i have a Toshiba c850-F117 pc and i have a WiFi connection problem. this problem actually started when i changed it from windows 7 starter to windows 7 ultimate, i tried to connect but windows says that a network adapter could not be found on the system.please what can i do about this.

did you do a fresh install of Win7 Ultimate?

is the wifi on the laptop enabled? might require a software for the FN key function to work.

is the driver for the wireless network card installed?
