Windows Inspiron won't turn on, please help!

My Dell Windows Inspiron laptop is refusing to turn on. I attempted to plug it into the charger and it didn't work. I used my friends charger, which was charging hers, and it also neglected to function. The chargers have the tiny green light on the battery pack, so they have to be fine. No matter how many times I press the power button, it simply does not work. This was a gift and I've only had it for a couple months, I really need help identifying and resolving the problem. I really do need assistance, so if you can advise anything please do! Thank you for taking the time to read this

If it is brand new (only a few months) then it should be under warranty still. I would contact the manufacturer.
