Windows replacement for light task

Here just a couple of question: (Want to Run it a vm) 1. Is Linux mint 18 a good replacement for windows 10 home as a daily driver (IE run Itunes, facebook, and web browsing)? (Have no use for Cortana or the other extra stuff in windows 10) 2. Does Linux include security and internet software? 3. Is it easy learn to use? 4. Will Linux play nice with the latest AMD GPU Drivers? Please & Thanks!
