I don't know how this happened, but my hp pavillion dv9000 is seriously sick! When i try to start it i only get a black screen with this message - "windows failed-to-start because-the-system-registry-file-is-missing-or-corrupt"
I have windows 7 installed.
Unfortunately i do not have an installation disk so i am lost here! Would be most thankful for help to save my laptop!

Hopefully it accepts the key you've got. If you can find it

If it does you can use rufus to put it on a flash drive. If you cant or dont have a dvd writer

if the bios is a UEFI bios select GPT, if it doesnt select MBR. Then add the ISO. Then start

One other thing regarding the key:

If you're certain you're in the right and own a Windows license, but it rejects your key, as it's sometimes apt to do, call in.

To get the phone number, go onto cmd -> slui.exe, 4

The phone line is a lot more liberal, I'd also suggest doing it from a smart phone, because then you can key it as quickly as you can type it, over hearing the stupid robot talk.
