Hi all,

I had purchased marantz sr 5010 and later on after our house was built realised that I needed to run analog cables to speakers for zone 2. zone 2 hdmi output does not send digital audio and therefore I am seeking a wireless solution so that I dont have to make any holes in the dry wall. Please help. The distance between the reciever and the room is quite a bit. It is sitting under wooden stairs on ground floor and I need it transmitting to first floor which is about 10 to 15 meters.

Solution
Connect a speaker to line level converter

to the zone 2 speaker outputs. This gives you a line level input for a BT, Wifi or other audio transmitter. You can use any compatible stereo speakers to the transmitter. With BT two mono wireless speakers can't work in stereo. A stereo pair will have a receiver in one speaker and a speaker wire between the two speaker cabinets. If you go BT get one that will pair with 2 devices in case you want to add an additonal room later.
