Hi lovely people of Tom's Hardware!
So I'm working on an ASUS laptop, model number K53E with Windows 7 64bit Service pack 1 which i have reformatted. I can get all the drivers including the LAN driver. My problem is that I can't install the Wireless driver, an error keeps occurring when i try to install. Anyone else had this problem? how can i get it to work?

i get the drivers from here; http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&s=295&m=K53E&os=&hashedid=fCGFt3hiSAQYMnvO

Thanks, Sqoh.

Have you unzipped the file, if so go the files that were in the zip, put the cursor over the executable file and right click your mouse, and click on Run As Administrator

Hey, thanks for your reply.
I've tired that, no joy. I comes up if i wish to install, Azureware Wireless LAN Driver, when i click Yes, i get a small error message saying; 'Azureware Wireless LAN Driver'. It actually makes no sense 🙁

If you actually look at the wireless section under the download link you provided you will see that there are 3 different manufactures for the WIFI. Atheros, Azurewave, and the Intel(R) WiFi. You maybe trying to install the incorrect model drivers. Try the other two and that should get the WIFI going.
