Solved! Wont charge or turn on, galaxy tab a 8.0

Bought a off brand battery for samsung galaxy tab a 8.0 tablet, once put battery in and used the device it goy extremely hot near the battery area , once the battery died i tried to re charge it but it did absolutly nothing, no icon, no turn on, just black screen. This is the second battery that has done this. Any ideas besides a new tablet??

Go back into e-Bay or wherever you used to buy the battery, and look for one that costs double what you paid. Cheap clones of real manufacturers' versions can be dangerous and fires have neem known to be caused by them.

If you did pay decent money for your replacemenet battery, the device might have a problem that probably can't be fixed economically.
