Would a 1-2 meter drop damage headphones or computer mice (optic)?

I have HD429 headphones, sennheiser, and a coolermaster Xornet mouse. I dropped both of them a couple of times, one time from 1 meter and one time from 2 meters, don't ask me why and how it just happened. I dropped them on a wooden floor.
