You can connect it to the same wires that connect the woofer in the Sony to the amp. Whether that amp will be stable or powerful enough to drive both is another story. The amp may blow up, blow a fuse or go into protection. No way to tell.
Even if it works adding a second woofer will probably not do much for you especially if one is inferior to the Sony. More boom isn't better.
