Would using these speakers work on this monitor?

Would plugging these speakers via 3.5mm wire into a BenQ 2430T work? Bearing in mind the monitor only has a mic and headphone jack..

Should be fine.

Speakers have their own power supply.

So your 3.5 mm wire (Male to Male stereo) would run from the monitor headphone jack to the speaker's Audio In port.

May require some configuration within the monitor's settings or your audio card.
