here we go again----

i have a brand new cuv-113 with nice new batteries that works nearly all of
pioneer's laserdisc machines. in the shrink wrap--- i just took it out to
test it and replace the dead batteries--- this one shipped standard with
most of the industrial cld-dvxx00 series machines between 1982 and 1990.
i'll gurantee no DOA.

people cry out for remotes, then never buy when i show up with a great on at
a very reasonable price. payal welcome; references upon request--- enjoy--:)

If your unit requires the +10 button to select chapters 10 or over this
remote will not do that. This was designed for the Industrial units and
will also work the older Pioneer units that don't require the "+10" key.

You can also find remotes at places like www.replacementremotes.com or ebay.

Buy a universal remote that has LD codes in it, that would be cheaper.

Just becuase you got the player for practically free, dont necessariylu
expect the remote to be free. If you have to pay $50 for a remote, your
total hw investment is $55 which is dirt cheap for LD.

I guess thats a good point ... I think an all in one is the best bet ....
you must agree however paying 10 times the cost of the player for a remorte
does seem silly :)

again thanks everyone for the feedback, links ideas and help :)

Go with a universal remote. the One for All remotes are usually reasonably
priced. http://www.oneforall-int.com/

The One for All 6 supports Pioneer LDs, the older "waisted" model has two
sets of Pioneer codes in it. This should work fine and you can always look
up specific function codes to program into the remote if they are not in
the pre-programmed set.

What I find silly is someone sold you a working player for $5.

If you go the universal remote route then you will still spend at
least $20 for one with LD codes, and then you're not going to get the
jog shuttle wheel feature.
