Thanks for the deffence bro, and no my typos are not dilexia ,, It's just A: my typing generally sucks , and B: i usually don't get around to posting here till right before i go to bed. so usually tired as hell and don't proof read. doesn't give every one a right to lecture me on typing though, or call me stuupid or any other such insulting remarks. It's not like I'm getting paid to type post here people (seriously if you can't read it just ignore it LOL )

PS3 is a better platform for graphics, the lower end games exclusive to the PS3 have better then average 360 game graphics, where as the high end leaves the 360 in the dust. The choice to move final fantasy to a multi platform was not because the 360 could compete with the PS3, but because it made good business sense to cash in on both sides. If you can make double the money, would you not take it? The PS3 is a far superior machine, but the biggest problem is is that sony has taken a MAC standpoint on their console and has kept a higher price tag on it. Both consoles are good, both have free online content, and both have good exclusives(I dont think there are any for the 360, but many friends beg to differ). The biggest difference is the reliability of the hardware. I have owned 2 PS3s in the past 3 years, and I only have the second for the upgrade of the newer hardware, but keep the old 60gig for the backwards compatibility. My sister has been through 4 360s, all of which have just took a hardware dump. When her last one died she moved to the PS3, she complains that it lacks the full amount of titles that 360 has, but raves over the quality of the exclusives it offers. She still can not get over the quality of GT5 Prologue.

In the end, its how wide of a game shelf you want to look at, and how much money you want to spend that will drive you to your console soul mate. This is why the Wii kicks the crap out of the other two consoles, not to mention the fun factor for the smaller generation. So buy what you want, but dont try to convince others you made the right choice, it only makes you look like you are trying to convince yourself.

Voiding the Warranty aside...couldn't you transfer the guts from your new Arcade into the shell of your old elite?

1. im a ps3 fan
2. i have a xbox 360
3. i fixed it myself bcoz of the rrod and its annoying but now its been working for awhile (even stress tested it leaving it on 2 days)
4. put thermal paste plus bolts and washers bcoz the problem is the x clamps
5. i hated xbox till i got a cheap rrod one for 20
6. i hate the controller plus the directional one the xbox makes playing soccer hard to control
