Nice to know Minecraft is still growing in popularity with no sign of stopping. With servers like survival.kreatious.net, Minecraft makes for awesome community experiences.

Even if it is just labor with a keyboard. Games tend to do that, but with mice too.

I've never understood the hype of this game. If I'm going to take the time to play a game I want it to not feel like I'm doing work.

Regardless, congrats to the dev team on a successful launch that took a couple of truly over-hyped titles down a peg.

Congratz to Notch. His game has been extremely successful and I wish him luck for the future. The game is fun. Its the building aspect that I love. Simply put, Legos for adults.

Not meaning to knock Minecraft (after all the game offers a lot to do), but I think it shows how sad console gaming is when Minecraft gets such a high ranking. Not for a lack of selection of games, but in a lack of ORIGINAL games. Minecraft is a refreshing change - I'm a PC gamer, yes I own a 360, but I have not booted to play games in such a long time, mostly because what is out there has zero replay value. Its sad that I play more classic DOS-BOX games than Console games... ugh.

minecraft is a great game, great idea, while graphic is not important in a game these days. but there is at least some minimum quality quality that I can only accept. I am not fond of 8bit pixels in 2012.

Yeah, TV's dont have 500 ohm antennae hookups anymore. Problem being you can't hook a 2600 to a TV any more.

Funny, I don't recall him saying anything about what kind of television he plays it on, or how. And you speak as if the technology isn't out there to still use an Atari 2600. Did you even try to get as far as Google?

I dont see what all the fuss is about, my kids love it though. We got it on PC and Xbox but my kids prefer the PC due to mods. The problem is trying to get them off my damn PC!!

ALSO its a 500 ohm to coax adapt anyways.

AMEN...The game make kids THINK and problem solve...My son wanted the MODs I said sure do it...Figure it out...Thats how you learn (I keep my data backed up)

This really needs to be a LEGO game. This game + LEGO polish? Sounds like a winner. And then ...you can buy your creation from LEGO directly! That would be awesome.
