I would gladly send my Motorola Droid X into the factory for a free 4G LTE upgrade.

'4g makes the price worth it' is a quote i believe a moto rep said..yeah it would be, if the 4g hardware was actually in there

Send to factory? Hmmm....A very efficient way of getting customers' data and files....
Better than spying through the net...
Good idea Motorola!

[citation][nom]otacon72[/nom]Always one conspiracy theorist nut job. You've never had to return anything for service? I backup my files and hard reset the device before sending it back. Those who send their stuff back with unencrypted files on it deserve whatever they get.[/citation]

He's not entirely incorrect. I seriously doubt that Motorola is doing this in an attempt to grab your data but it can't be understated that techs who service these devices WILL take a look and see what you've got. Back in the day when I spent my month working at Best Buy the geek squad guys would find crap on PC's all the time. No shame.

WOW I've been waiting for xoom but they are killing me and it. No choice but to wait for the rest of the competitors.
