Question Y520 W/OUT Backligth want to upgrade to backligth

OK after i found out that my motherbord has the conection of jkbl1 but not the connecter( missing thr jbkl1 connector but it has the space and welding points on the mobo for it), is it possible to weld the connector to the mobo and instal a nem backlid keyboard what problems my i enconter ??

could be more then just the connector is missing. replace the system board
