Solved! Yamaha Volume control via PC

Hi

I would like to know if it is possible to control the volume of a yamaha receiver (RX-A3060) via a PC. i know apple TV is able to do it but i've replaced the apple TV with a PC as it did not have Atmos support. i now use a logitech wireless keyboard with touch pad (K830) to control my computer. i am able to do everything with this keyboard except the volume. if i was able to able to control the volume from this keyboard it would eliminate the need for me to use the yamaha remote control.

What you want is HDMI CEC control, but PC typically don't support it, consult the Mobo/GPU manual to be sure.
