Yamaha Wireless Streaming Adapter and the Echo Dot

Has anyone successfully connected the Yamaha WXAD-10 Wireless Streaming Adapter to an Amazon Echo Dot and can now control music in a multi-room setup using voice commands?

It doesn't have an input so you can't connect an Echo Dot to it and use that as your source.
Yamaha doesn't have an Alexa skill for it either so you can't use Alexa as a control for it the way Sonos and Denon Heos do..

How about using the Bluetooth connectivity? Would that work?
