YouTube Cover Crop Error

Hello, i just want to put a new youtube cover, but i can't. On youtube, when i press "upload" and i wait tu browse the image, i see "Reccomanded Size 2560 x 1440". My image is 2560 x 1440, but i ca't crop it. I made a video with my problem:

I take it you would like the full image ts show instead of the way YouTube wants to crop it. The only suggestion I have is to make the image smaller while placing it on a 2560 x 1440 background (such as a white background or some other color) and then try it again. I'm not saying this is the best way but it's all I can think of at the moment.
