I upload my 21:9, 1920x810 video on YouTube and bam gives me 1080p60 but it looks like crap. DELETE. Upload again...same specs...gives me highest quality of 720p60...wtf?! DELETE. Upload AGAIN. Gives me 360P LIKE WHAT?! Help!

YouTube will always re-encode the video when you upload it so quality degradation is expected. However this can be minimised with an effective workflow.

How are you rendering the videos before you upload them to YouTube?

Sony Vegas pro. Ok so I recorded with nvidia shadow play in 1920x810, then rendered in Sony Vegas pro 13 at 1920x810. It looked fine until I uploaded. The problem and weird thing is every time I uploaded it the video the quality would keep going down. The max res would go from 1080p to 720 to 360 it was weird.

Resolution Should be increasing as YouTube processes it. This is the first time I've heard of res decreasing

Post a link to your video and I'll have a look at it

I deleted it but I'm re rendering it in my games original resolution: 2560x1080 and seeing what happens when it uploads

THAT MAKES ME HEART WARM but why can't i select 1080p it doesnt show an option

And what is your current ISP speed?

What browser are you using? Try a different one
