youtube video quality decreases after a few days

Hi!
I upload videos to Youtube. For a few days, the quality is fine. After a few days, the quality gets worse (with the same settings e.g. 1080p). So my problem is not that the original clip on my laptop and the one that is uploaded differs too much, but that after a few days on youtube, the image quality gets worse.
Has anyone experienced this? What's the solution?
