Zenbook Pro UX501VW US71T vs DS71T

I'm looking for the difference between these two laptops. I'm having a very hard time finding any concrete answers, and I'm hoping someone here will have one. Below is a link to both.

Also...these laptops seem to be aging? Will there be newer Zenbooks coming out soon? Or are these pretty much it for the time being? On that same note, should I be looking at any other options in this price range? I'm a big fan of Asus (had my old laptop for about 4 years now, Asus, and its held up great), but I'm open to looking into others (however, no dell or HP).

The laptop will be used for basic business tasks such as excel, powerpoint, website browsing and multi tasking. Also, watching movies and an occasional game (probably only counter strike).

In terms of specs, they are 100% identical. The only difference I can spot is that the US71T is sold by Amazon.com and the DS71T is sold by Computer Upgrade King. The price difference may even out once Amazon adds shipment charges.

I have to agree with velo3100: Massive overkill in terms of specs and money. But if you have $1,500 just lying around, I fully understand why you'd want a Zenbook - it is the best-looking machine currently available, and ASUS hasn't skimped on quality materials.

I don't know anything about ASUS's upcoming launches, but I'm surprised to see that this Zenbook isn't available with a Kaby Lake CPU. Maybe we'll see a Kaby Lake version in a few weeks/months.
