Digital adapter remote limitations

I scan the heavens, holding my mohu antenna outside. I have a Proscan (hhgregg) digital TV. I get 25 channels. Everything is great until i first loose on channel, then another. I have other tv's on converter boxes and have never lost a channel with them. Please help. Thanks
