14 inch vs 15 inch on 1366x768

Hi friends,
I am planning to buy either thinkpad L440 or L540.
I am mostly going to use this laptop for web development and college studies.
Now my budget is less than $800. So I cant afford a higher resolution screen on any of the laptops.
So my question is, is it worth investing $50 extra and go for 15 inch laptop of same resolution i.e. 1366x768? $50 may not be a big issue but weight is, I might have to carry this laptop around the campus.

It's just the size of the screen. $50 extra isn't that bad but it would weigh a little bit more, not much though. It really comes down to personal preference.

Okay, thanks for help. I have decided that I'll go for 14 inch model. In case if I need a bigger screen I might invest into an external monitor. Thanks for your help keeno.
