3.5mm AUX Speakers to Samsung MU7000

Hello,

I'm trying to connect my Samsung MU7000 to my JBL Jembe's using a plethora of 3.5mm AUX cords and AUX splitters. I bought an optical out to AUX cable, however it still isn't working. Do I need some sort of powered converter? Please help!

That adapter you bought is not 3.5mm analog audio..it is a mini TOSLINK.
You can buy an adapter to take digital TOSLINK audio to Analog (usually RCA, but maybe 3.5mm as well).
The adapter/converter would be powered.
