Yes, but... you'll get half the power potential of your power amp. If you compensate to increase that power by turning the volume up, it might clip and if your system protection is not designed properly then it may damage the speakers and eventually, damage the amp as well.

But really, any system put to its maximum performance has disaster waiting.
