Solved! 42" visio connected to hd5770

I just purchased a 42 inch visio lcd tv, I am connecting it to my xfx 5770 with a hdmi cable, but for some reason there is an inch (top an bottom) to 2 inch(sides) where the picture doesnt fill the screen, resolution is set to 1080p

Computer set to 1920x1080 resolution, Tv sees 1080p (flashes in top right corner)
Then use catalyst control center and resize the image.
