52" rca projection tv

the top and bottom r concaving.
and the sides r doing it as well.
thescreen also changes ratio on its own.
if im watching a movie and turn the surround sound on, the sound level jumps. does any body have any ideas?

If your RCA is a CRT based rear projector it has either in a service menu or on the circuit board adjustments for convergence and pincushion which are a real pain to adjust. Could also be a power supply problem.
The "surround sound" setting on the TV could do many things ie volume, tone,etc to the sound except make real surround sound.
