7.1 pc surround system to RCA (LCD TV)

Hello everybody,

I want to connect my 7.1 pc speakers to TV, I dont know if that is possible.

This is subwolfer outputs

I suppose I need something like this https/goo.gl/Wv5GPJ but it will not be 7.1 sound.. I need something like this for my setup... or I need something like this https/goo.gl/2nTGxn but it is quite expensive. I would like to have some elegant solution.

That cable with the RCA ends will not work, not even for stereo sound. Your TV, like most modern TVs does not have RCA Audio Out jacks, only RCA Audio In jacks for connecting a DVD player etc.
The only Audio Out on your tv is a Toslink Optical Digital Audio Output.

aaah many thanks for clarifying to me. Its first useful information what I got. So i need something to put in there three 3.5 jacks with Toslink Optical Digital Audio Output. It will be not just reduction I guess so it will be some small box (some DAC maybe). Do you have an idea what I exactly need for that? Thank you a lot!

You won't get 7.1 because quite simply TV's don't do 7.1

That will get you 5.1 & you can flip that 5.1 to 7.1 upmix switch to get simulated surround from the side speakers.

You'll have to search for something similar in your own region.

You are aware that barely anything transmitted from the TV itself will be in proper 5.1 surround anyway though ??

many thanks, yea I know that anything transmitted from the TV will be not good 5.1 but I wanted to use my old PC speakers in hope that it will be cheap solution. In my country (Czech Republic) are these DACs quite expensive.. (around 80 USD) so its basicly better to buy new 5.1 system for 200 USD i guess. But if I will be able to get this DAC around 20 USD it will be way to go.
