720p & 1080p videos lags in my pc

While playing 720p or 1080p resolution videos in my PC videos stuck n show glitches
my PC config but games works pretty fine, doesn't shows any lagging ....
Intel Pentium D 3Ghz
4Gb Ram
1Gb Video Card (Nvidia gt 210)
160+500Gb Hard disk
2Tb External Hard disk

Hi,

Please do try doing a clean install of the graphics card driver and see if it will work or not.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics card driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link: http/www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- Do also set Nvidia as the default GPU after the reboot.
