750m vs 840m

Im not sure which laptop to get, which one of these two are better?

I would go with the 750M because for laptop GPU, any below the 750M or 850M is not really designed for gaming.

The GT 840M is much faster than the 740M and only very slightly slower than the 750M. It uses much less power because it has the newer Maxwell architecture. That should help battery life considerably.

Pretty useless, you can't really compare based on specs.

Besides, it says this about the 840M:

Its performance proves to be way better than its predecessors and to be on level with the DDR3 variant of the higher positioned GeForce GT 750M.

750m should be more powerful but 840m will get you more battery life
